Background: How it all started
We moved into this house in 2013 and one of its attractions was the big garden. I wanted my children to be able to play outside and be safe.
One of the problems, however, was that the previous owner had loved flowers and planted them everywhere and anywhere, without a plan or obvious design in mind.
By the time we moved in, the plants were overgrowing and struggling for space and light. Another issue was that the garden was on a slope and we were not able to put anything such as a paddling pool or a trampoline for the children to use. So I set off on my landscaping and gardening adventure.
